Science is fun and if you have kids and a kitchen then you already have willing lab assistants and Laboratory to solve the wonders of modern science in.
I have some links here that will wow the kids or perhaps even you.
Most experiments will just require some mundane household items and "perhaps a mop and bucket and lots of paper towels too!"

My all time favorite Steve Spangler this guy would be anyone's favorite science teacher.

You too can be a doctor of Funology a great kids site full of projects and facts.

Lets ask Science Bob! I like the weather part here.

Hunkin's Experiments This stop is worth the cartoons alone. If the work looks familiar you might have seen some on the TV show 'The Secret Life Of Machines'.

Don't forget one of the best "daddy how does that work?" resources on the net HowStuffWorks I go here all the time really amazing things here.
